The AfriCouncil offers a range of services, including but not limited to:

These services are available to both members and non-members, with special rates available for members.
2. User Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Conduct yourself ethically and professionally in all interactions.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and AfriCouncil bylaws.
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including full name, business name, contact information, and business details.
- Use the services provided by the AfriCouncil in a manner consistent with the goals and purpose of the AfriCouncil.
3. Account Registration
To access certain services, you must create an account by providing the required personal and business information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Payment and Fees
- The AfriCouncil accepts payments via PayPal, credit cards, and bank transfers. Additional fees may apply depending on the payment method.
- Fees for services, events, or membership must be paid in advance. Registration for events or services is required before access is granted.
- Any outstanding payments must be settled prior to the termination of services or membership.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds are available if a cancellation request is submitted within 14 days of joining or renewing a membership. All cancellation requests must be sent to membercare@africouncil.org. Once services have been rendered, fees are non-refundable.
6. Content Ownership and Use
The AfriCouncil provides proprietary content, including reports, research, and other materials, for business purposes. This content is owned by the AfriCouncil and is intended for members' personal and professional use only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any content without explicit permission from the AfriCouncil is prohibited.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, the AfriCouncil does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of the content provided and disclaims any liability arising from the use of such content.
7. Limitation of Liability
The AfriCouncil shall not be held liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of our services or website, including, but not limited to, service disruptions, incorrect information, or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control. Users engage with the website and its content at their own risk, and the AfriCouncil is not liable for any payments made outside of the AfriCouncil's Escrow services.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services. The AfriCouncil is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of these external sites and services and disclaims all liability for any loss or damage that may result from their use.
9. Termination of Services
The AfriCouncil reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our website and services under the following conditions:
- Violation of these Terms of Service or any other Council regulations.
- Failure to pay membership or service fees.
- Engagement in fraudulent activities or misrepresentation.
- Any other reason deemed harmful to the interests or integrity of the AfriCouncil.
Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting membercare@africouncil.org. Any outstanding invoices must be paid prior to termination.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the AfriCouncil encourages the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, including mediation and arbitration. The AfriCouncil facilitates discussions between parties to reach an amicable solution without resorting to formal legal action.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed by the laws of Malaysia, Nigeria, and England and Wales, depending on the context of the service or issue at hand. Where a legal conflict arises, and more than one jurisdiction’s laws are applicable, the AfriCouncil will determine the appropriate governing law based on the primary location where the services were provided or where the dispute arose.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the appropriate courts or arbitration in the respective country, subject to the AfriCouncil's preference and the nature of the dispute.
12. Changes to Terms
The AfriCouncil reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via email and website announcements. Changes will take effect 60 days after notice is provided.
By continuing to use the AfriCouncil’s services after any amendments to the Terms of Service, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
