Afri Council is excited to announce our upcoming Go on a Mission: Trade and Investment Mission to Malaysia and ASEAN. The Mission is scheduled from July 24 to July 31, 2024, in conjunction with Investment Expo 2024, Business Conference 2024, and B2B Forum. We are thrilled to provide this opportunity for individuals and companies interested in trade and investment to engage with Malaysia - ASEAN and its business community.

An extensive and detailed agenda will be provided to accepted delegates. *Program content and timing are subject to change.


Proposed Timetable

This timetable allows delegates to take part in business matchmaking across the diverse ASEAN marketplace by offering scheduled business-to-business meetings in Malaysia and ASEAN. *Subject to the availability of the host's relevant authorities as well as the delegate’s specific goals.

Markets: Malaysia (July 24 -31, 2024) and ASEAN Region (August 1 - 3, 2024)


Complimentary

Our co-hosted partner in Malaysia will be offering Afri Council delegations with the following - complimentary:

- Two nights’ accommodation in the Official Hotel with Daily Breakfast.

- Two-way airport transfer (KLIA – Official Hotel – KLIA).


Participants

Only 13 seats are available, and priority is given to premium members in good standing. Register using the mission application link below. The Council will send a confirmation of participation to accepted delegates.


Fees and Expenses

The mission participation fee is US$480 for premium members, (US$680 for non-premium members), which includes the Matchmakings and B2B Forum, and one mission stop. Each additional mission stop costs US$380.

- Delegates are expected to pay for all costs they incur throughout the delegation mission, including, but not limited to: local and international travel, visa charges and processing fees, accommodation, and incidentals unless otherwise noted. Delegates will, however, be able to take advantage of our partner’s rates for hotel rooms and airline tickets.


Visa Letter/ eVisa

To ensure all participants receive comprehensive support, we will have Counselling and Consulate Services available throughout the mission trip. The Council will facilitate visa letter and eVisa application processing for accepted delegates and offer guidance on various aspects of conducting business in Malaysia and ASEAN.
